Advanced Internet Course
Course Syllabus
The object of the course is to develop
advanced search techniques and also to assess and make use of
the many new search sites becoming available all the time. These
search facilities are mainly being developed by existing search
engines such as Google and Yahoo.
Because the Internet is continually changing
and developing, this syllabus will have to change accordingly.
The course will use current advanced searches
as practical examples.
The course will continually evaluate search
success rates against the claim that 90% of failed searches are
due either to incorrect techniques or lack of perseverance.
