Beyond Basics

This course aims to introduce some of the ways in which the Microsoft Office program can be used creatively. Lessons will be based on the Microsoft Word and Publisher programs. Students will need to be proficient in these programs.

Topics covered will include:

• Designing a cover for a manual
• Using Clip Organiser
• Creating a brochure from Word Templates
• Creating a banner in Publisher
• Greeting cards in Word or Publisher
• Creating a four page poster
• Printing a booklet in Word
• Creating and personalising a calendar

Prerequisites:
Students need to be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Publisher
