VoIP (Voice over Internet
Protocol)
What is this and how can you use it? Just as
modems allow computers to connect to the Internet over regular
telephone lines, VoIP technology allows humans to talk over
Internet connections.
Skype
is one popular voice communicator program which allows users to
communicate over the Internet with other Skype users.
Prerequisites: Students should have
completed the Introduction to Computing or Basic Courses, and
have sufficient word processing and file operation skills.
