Managing Your Computing This course deals mainly with Windows XP, however much of the content is applicable to other operating systems. Reference is made to Windows 98, or other Microsoft operating systems, where differences exist. Topics covered are: The Desktop Managing Files and Folders Using Find and Run Creating/Deleting Shortcuts Adding/Removing Programs from the Start menu and Startup menu The Control Panel Managing Printing Using Help Virus Protection Prerequisites: Students should have completed the Introduction to Computing or Basic Courses.
