Video Editing

The aim of this course is to show you how to create home movies from the raw video taken from your camera. This can be a digital camera with movie capability or a video camera.

• First we will download video from your camera to your hard drive.
• We will then deal with deleting, moving and adding sections of video.
• We will show how to add (or edit) speech or music to your movie.
• Finally we will deal with recording your movie to CD or DVD.

The program to be used is Arcsoft Photo Expressions which is on the CD supplied.

Prerequisites: Students will be expected to have done the Basic Computer Courses
