Home Graphics and Scanning This course provides an introduction to Home Graphics and Scanning. Using a simple Graphics program, you will learn how to manipulate and enhance the appearance of your photos. The syllabus will include: Scanning photos and negatives or slides Restoring old photos Straightening, cropping & rotating photos Adding text and special effects to photos Deleting parts of photos Scanning text Creating a Calendar The aim of this course is to encourage you to have fun with your photos - the camera may never lie, but you will be surprised what the computer can do!   Prerequisites: Students should have satisfactorily completed the Introduction to Computing or Basic Courses.
