Nicole Senior was our well received speaker at our first meeting for the year. Nicole is an Accredited Nutritionist and Practicing Dietician. Her topic for today was “Hearts and Bellies - Eating Your Way To Health”

Today was our Annual General Meeting and Election of Officers followed by our Monthly General Meeting. Joan Craymer gave an informative presentation on the various Courses we conduct at the club, followed by Ian Gemmel who gave a brief outline of the duties of the members of the Management Committee and the Standing Committee.

Our own Lynton Bradford enlightened us on some very handy devices, including iPads, ePads, eBook Readers GPS Navigators and Smart Phones. His presentation led to much interest in the latest technology.

Congratulations to Maureen McDonald who was selected as Senior Volunteer of the Year for the Sydney North Region. On Friday, 3rd December 2010, Maureen was presented with her Award at a ceremony at Parliament House.

Maureen is a Tutor at our Computer Club and serves on the Committee as Membership Secretary, as well as volunteering for a number of other organizations. Well done to a hard working volunteer!
